I am 16 Year Specialty Coffee, F&B, and Hospitality Professional with a prior background in Film. I have been recognized for Sustainable choices in my Businesses - from an embrace of all-glass takeaway model as early as 2013, adoption of solar energy in a Coffee Roasting Facility, and more. In 2023 I received a Patent for a Batch Method of making Espresso.
My first company, Bar Nine, was founded in 2013 with the express goal of elevating the guest experience. We received international recognition for our Design, innovative practices, and leading with our values. I oversaw all Operations, Coffee, Culinary, Creative, and Marketing decisions and helped build a brand reputation I'm proud of.
In 2017, I was recognized by StarChefs as a Rising Star Coffee Roaster and also received praise for high end coffees submitted to organizations such as Coffee Review and TED. I have been grateful to receive positive press in the LA Times, LA Magazine, Eater LA, Sprudge, Goop, Architectural Digest, Daily Coffee News and a variety of industry blogs and podcasts.
I am currently working on new projects and ready to set my sights on fresh areas of innovation, creativity, and sustainable choices.
